Hi, this is Grayson! I’m going to tell you all about my awesome weekend.

We took a road trip to North Carolina for my grandpa’s birthday. Yay! It was a long drive, so we got there kind of late and didn’t do much that night. The next day, we relaxed a little and then celebrated my grandpa’s birthday with our close family. It was nice being together.

After that, we had his birthday party again the next day! More friends and family came over, and it was so much fun. We watched some fireworks that night. They were super cool!

It was really hot every day we were there, so I swam in my grandparents’ pool. It felt great to cool off. I even swam again the next day! My family and I played games in the pool and had a blast. There were a lot of people around. I got a little overwhelmed a few times, but I calmed myself down on my own, which made me feel proud.

This weekend was really fun. I got to visit family, celebrate, and have a good time. After four days, we drove back home. Now everything is back to normal, but I’m glad I got to make those memories.
